The M156 was the first engine AMG designed and built entirely in-house, and it remains one of the last great naturally aspirated V8s to leave Affalterbach.
No forced induction or electronic softening - just a big 6.2L V8 sending all its power to the rear wheels.

The McLaren 720S Launch Edition đ
The 720S first arrived in 2017 as the successor to the 650S and moved McLarenâs Super Series a full generation forward.
The Launch Edition was limited to just 400 units worldwide - designed for the initial rollout of the 720S - and featured unique interior plaques, specific Launch configurations, and specific VIN sequences distinguishing them from the Standard and Performance-trim 720S models that followed.
Power comes from a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 which sends 710 hp and 568 lb-ft to the rear wheels for a 0-60 mph sprint of just 2.7 seconds!
To take things further, our team at @theaugustgarage installed a @velocity_ap exhaust + down pipes and ECU tune - as if performance wasnât already impressive enough đĽ
