August Motorcars Track Day: June 26 Photos

Thanks to everyone that joined us on June 26th for our first track day of 2023!

We had an amazing turnout and the weather was perfect for a day at Area 27 Motorsports park!
There were many familiar faces as well as lots of new ones – we love when our friends get to experience the track for the first time!

As always we had 3 distinct groups depending on drivers’ experience level to ensure everyone was comfortable at their own pace during lapping sessions.
Autocross was going on throughout the day with some great prizes for the top spots!

We also had an exciting wager for if anyone was able to beat Matt or Mike on the Autocross course; with the prize being a free track day ($700 value)!

A Porsche Takeover at Area 27!

Every year, our annual Porsche Day is one of the most anticipated dates on the August Motorcars track calendar. This year, it was also our season finale, and it was our biggest Porsche Day yet.

The paddock at Area 27 was end-to-end Porsche from end to end. It was the perfect way to close out a season of driving with the community that makes these days what they are.

Back At The Track: September 10, 2026

After a mid-summer break, August Motorcars returned to Area 27 on September 10 for our second-to-last track day of the season – and it did not disappoint!
The turnout was fantastic, the weather couldn’t have cooperated more, and the energy in the paddock made it clear how much everyone had missed being back on the circuit. From the first session of the morning to the final laps of the day, drivers pushed their cars and themselves, and the August Motorcars team was out there every step of the way, soaking in a day that reminded us exactly why we do this.
