Text Messaging Terms

August Motorcars, operated by 1035488 BC Ltd., offers a text messaging service to customers and prospective customers who provide us with a mobile number and agree to be contacted this way.

What we send. Replies to enquiries you have made, appointment confirmations and reminders, updates on a vehicle you have asked about, service and maintenance updates, and occasional offers relevant to you.

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages when you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, whether through a form on our website, through our website chat, in person at the dealership, or by replying to a message from us.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your enquiry and your relationship with us.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier and not by August Motorcars.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. To start receiving messages again, contact us and we will re-enable them.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, call us on (250) 860-0444, or email sales@augustmotorcars.com.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
